Did this Virgo man lose interest

I am a 25 yrs old Aries female, I met this 33 yrs old virgo male through friends last April. We kept meeting on several occasions. One night last October we got rly flirty,he took my number, started texting. But when one time I replied 12 hours later to a text he sent he disappeared and stopped texting. Yet a week after the incident we met again at a party, I said hi in a very friendly way. He kept starring at me all night but did not approach me. This situation continued till last Thursday, we meet (nearly every other weekend through mutual friends, he always seems happy to see me, stares at me all night but never approaches me.

Last Thursday, I got a bit tipsy and decided to take the lead, I told him look I have a confession, I have a little crush on you, he seemed rly happy and told me well me too. we hugged and continued dancing. Then we went to an after party together. He told me we'll leave together, and once we got into the elevator we started kissing. He then asked me if I wanted to go to his place for a bit. Stupidly enough I said yes. We went to his place and before you know it we were having sex. He was rly tender and gentle throughout it and kept looking in my eyes.

We slept at 11 AM the next day and woke up at 1 PM, he was rly hangover and tired, but for me he seemed distant, I expected a bit more after what happened last night. He turned on the tv and remained quiet, I will admit I was also sitting there quietly and a bit bored and uncomfortable ( I dont know if he sensed it or not)

Then all of the sudden he goes like "I bet ur dog is quite hungry by now" (I had told him the night before that I will have to leave at some point to feed my dog), but for me this sounded like a humiliation, like he wanted me to leave. So I told him ur right I have to leave and I left. He never called nor texted since, which is rly hurting me.

I know what I did was wrong and impulsive (typical Aries), but we have been going back and forth on this since October, it's not like we just met.

Do you think there's a coming back from that and I could fix it or should I just forget about the whole thing?

I expected him to be a bit sweet after what we did the night before, given the fact that he told me he liked me too.

Usually around me he's very shy, keeps starring at me and seems happy when he sees me. We used to talk for a bit when we used to meet but thats it. But I figured after expressing our feelings things would be a bit diff.
