Gemini Gal confused with Virgo Guy

Hey guys! I am a bit confused.

I am really interested in this Virgo guy. We had hooked up in the past and stayed in contact. I read on other forums similar scenarios or other people dealing with the same as I am: hot and cold with a Virgo guy.

He will tell me happy early birthday because "I didn't want you to think facebook reminded me and I knew I'd be slammed at work on your birthday" and be extremely affectionate....but then he goes day, weeks....almost a full month in disappearance.

In that time frame, I start questioning all that sincerity. I have bad anxiety and it adds to it just thinking, "Did I do something wrong?" I always say things like, "I miss you" randomly when I checked in with him and this is after days or weeks or not communicating.

Also, I told him when he wished me a happy early bday that I appreciated him taking the time to say that to me.

I don't know. No communication indicates no interest. Doesn't it?

Okay well me and this guy used to talk but he told me it wouldn't work out cause he couldn't treat me the way I deserved to be treated with the type of guy he is and things he has to deal with outside of school. I posted on my Instagram my girl best friend appreciation post cause she made me feel better with the stuff I was going through. Immediately he texted me asking me if I was okay.

I started venting to him and he told me "talk to me love" which is unlike him and then when I continued to vent he said that things will get better if I keep my beautiful smile and positive attitude etc.

Then for the goodnight text he said:

GN sweet dreams? Feel free to text me even though you don't...you know,like text the guy first and then I told him how I feel like I'm bothering the guy and he said nooooooo u can do it with me pero GN love
