How to tell if a virgo is not over his ex??/

How would you be able to tell if a virgo isnt over his ex?

My virgo interest has seems fine and all, he's not in contact with his ex as far as I know, but once recently we were discussing music, and a song he loved at the moment he mentioned, and its a song about remembering in detail some good memories/times with someone, anyway he told me he sees himself in the song lyrically? I didnt know what to say to that. He's obviously not remembering me or his grandma so I'm thinking the song reminds him of an ex (he did get dumped in his last relationship which was quite a while ago)....?? Am I wrong to assume that? lol

I always cherish my memories with my exes. Doesn't mean I have the same feelings for them I once did.

In fact, after I'm over them, I feel like I'm second-to-none in the whole "let's still be friends" thing. They become exactly that. A friend.

If I'm not over an ex, I'm actually pretty bitter and angry towards them. That's a better indication he's not over his ex. If he's ground, and can stably talk about her, he's probably over her.

Someone said it before, but it's true, virgos don't rewind. Once I'm done, I'm done. Which is why I can be friends, and enjoy some memories, and I won't "feel the same love" I once did with them.

When I go through a break up, I usually just go radio silent and cut all communication and work through my emotions and damage. Once I'm better, ready, and healed (often much longer after that point too), I'll finally talk to them again (maybe a year or two later), get some closure, and become friends.

I have never fallen for an ex a second time, and I've never had a "bad ex." I feel like I do this the most healthy way possible.

Now whether any other virgos (or your guy) do the same thing I do remains to be seen, but for my two cents, I can think about exes without "being in danger" of falling back to them.

Did he know the last relationship was over?

Did he also wanna leave?

I sometimes relate to songs more of the feeling rather than the actual lyrics. If that makes any sense
