Im back , anyone here from 10 years ago?

Hi guys ,

I always come back from time to time. Not sure if most of the old users left by now.

Anyways, I just wanted to check in. Dxpnet used to be a home for me, even with the mean petty people and all . I shared more here than with a lot of people in real life . The fact that Im on here less means I’m much happier in live so that’s progress right?

I couldn’t sleep tonight and thought of DXP

Update : got a job after college, got promoted, bought myself a house , about to buy my mom a house. Saw someone i love lost 10 years of saving in blink of an eye (I really hate SF and the people in it who break into things and steal from hard working people not realizing how hard they worked for it) , fell in love with an awesome Aquarius man (thank god I got over the cancer man phase) . we've together almost 2 years now and he’s 25 years my senior. We weren’t expecting it to work but so far so great . I make more money than him… so no financial agenda here. JUST PURE LOVE. I’m sure there’s reason why we chose each other due to past trauma but all I know is I’ve never been more happy or felt more seen.

Discovered I have Borderline personality , which is why all my interpersonal relationships were triggers. I have more issues than astrology now that I’m older so I spend more time on REDDIT focus groups like r/HSP r/BPD to better myself . Odd huh, since I’m a Virgo you wouldn’t think I’d be one of the most emotionally sensitive person. Digging meditation , deep house, and olafur arnald at the moment. Hope to do more traveling soon.

I want to be a mom soon, hopefully in 2 years . Will check back again… if anyone I remember is still here.

Ahh hello there old pal. It’s hard for me to remember people if they change their picture and username .

That’s the only reason I haven’t changed mine . I’m glad you remembered me .

I see you’re from Cali . I heard it’s getting crazy all over the state .

Maybe one day we should meet in person if I ever find myself with some free time in Cali .

A number of us are still around. Many of folks have moved on...their only connection to the site being the old veterans who got their IRL contact before they departed.

I'm glad you're doing well...especially in light of your Dx...I have a loved one who has BPD and I know everyday is hell until treatment happens...so I'm glad you're doing well, truly.

Hello, thank you for your kind wishes . And yes, it scary because now that I’m aware of it, I can no longer let it affect my life without trying. In addition to that, I have to accept it’ll always be a part of who I am.

There’s really good and bad days , but I have a strong support system who are champions at forgive me on my bad days and learn that sometimes I’m not fully me, I revert to a version of me that I have little control of. Remember me when I’m not splitting and hopefully that’s enough for them to want to stick around.
