Just reading this topic & it's comments makes me think all Virgos came from the same planet to earth lol (being nice ok don't get annoyed at me :o) i can even relate to all of this! it's amazing and it grabs my attention every time!

I believe you need to give yourselves more credit because your not doing it! (coming from a Cap Woman I've got that many Virgos [M & F] around me everyday sister, best friends, work mates, lovers, ex lovers etc etc etc)

Specifically what grabs your attention every time?

Honesty, truth those are smattered all throughout any astrology websites when describing virgo traits..

5,6,7 are forms of dishonesty.

Being guarded is different from lying.

1. applies but if someone said "Are you upset?" or "are you sad?" we wouldn't lie. BUT we are NOT
going to tell you by crying or yelling or by flat out saying "I am so bummed"

If anyone wants to know why??

It is NOT pride but ask any fish and they will SWEAR it is...

It's because we do not want anyone else to have to carry OUR weight. It's ours and we are perfectly capable of bearing the load.. and we WANT to because we feel like failures if we don't.

After all how can one be perfect or at least strive for perfection if they leave it all to someone else..

Now, the post itself begs to ask "Is this in romance?" because if that's the case, we can become dependent on a person we trust. Not because we are needy or can't self suspend.. it's because TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE ARE SCARCE.. so you may be our ONLY viable resource which means like the Davis Bessy nuclear plant, you will get overutilized...
If there were more solid people out there, we'd do some serious load balancing across the lot...

but alas... so few are we.. 😄

it's a perception. It comes across that way to YOU. You perceive it as that...
similar to confident and cocky. Confident is not questioning one's own judgement or decisions. (us) Cocky is stating as such but not necessarilly (and typically) being able to back up the statement.

I know exactly what the words mean. Arrogant, cocky...I'm using the words interchangeably, if you don't mind. Yes it comes across that way to ME and that's exactly what I said. MY OBSERVATION. Period.

Wow KevinFlynn, you said it best! Us being self-sufficent can be mistaken as being arrogant to others. I like the word confident.
