I started along distance relationship four months ago with a Virgo man...and it has been epic! We are very much in sync, though I realize that Libra and Virgo signs are not supposed to be that compatible! I have been reading about the hot/cold disappearing act of Virgo males. This behavior has shown up a couple of times...and I want to be able to deal with it sensibly. Any advice from Virgo males and others in a relationship with a Virgo male would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Interesting fact though.

Virgo and Scorpio were both the same sign at one point. The signs were split apart, and as a result of the split, Libra was born.

So Virgo and Libras can probably be pretty compatible. The signs are related, and can have a lot in common. I'm a Virgo who has a lot of heavy Libra influence though.

Wasn't aware of that about Virgo and Scorpio. Very interesting....because we DO seem to have a lot in common. But the disappearing thing..I really don't know how to react with that. Do I leave him alone or try to contact him when he seems to be mired in the mud?

And I am all about compromise and also having fun and sharing intimately with someone I trust. Do you act hot/cold with female interests...if so, why? And how do you want her to react? He has told me not to change a thing about myself since this is what made him interested in me in the first place. We are actually reconnecting from being high school friends many yrs ago...when he was too shy to make a move 🙂 !

I honestly don't do disappearing acts. So I can't relate. I may not talk to someone for an extended period, but I usually explain why. For example I may get busy with work or something, and may not have time to talk. In general I rarely just pick up and leave with no explanation, unless I immediately sense things aren't working out, and I'm not getting a good vibe from the woman. I don't really have a clue how I want a woman to act, but I like her to be responsive in some way. Proactivity goes a long way. Virgos are naturally defensive people, so playing a reactive game with them doesn't go far. I've found that it's hard for me to be aggressiveness a lot of times. But if things seem stagnant, I'll bite the bullet to move things along. Most Virgos will step out and do something aggressive to get things moving along.

Thanks for the great info! It has only been a couple of times that he has not responded for a few days at a time. I truly think he is overwhelmed a bit at his strong feelings for me and this plays in to it. Some males act this way when feeling strong emotion, Virgo or not! What I have done, it to continue to leave cheerful texts or msgs...and a few questions...but not desperate or clingy! Early days yet...we shall see.. I like that you like proactive, since that is the way I am. But I am also moony over this fella and don't want to run him off by coming on too strong, ya know?
