that! Lol it's no need for me to find a reason to speak to him. If I wanna have convo with you, then I will talk to you. I just try to treat ppl the way I wanna be treated. Someone birthday is important.

Negative ghost rider. I understand your intentions of wanting to do a nice gesture and let him know that he is thought of, but he's an ex. I say don't do it.

+1

I agree.

But if you are determined and you're looking to re-establish contact, then just DO it.

Don't be meek and wait for the birthday for an excuse to do so.

BOLD can be good. 🙂

Then why on earth would you get defensive when people complied?

You obviously had misgivings about doing this, or you wouldn't have asked.

And if I thought that was ultimately your motive, then someone else might, too.

It wasn't an insult, so much as encouragement to do what you needed to do.

Cupcake.

There's an ulterior motive.

There's nothing wrong with happy wishes to any person, when the aim is for the happy wish.

But, that's not the case here. If you have feelings for the person, then your motive for doing it is to manipulate him into reciprocating according to your expectations.

But, then again ... everything you've ever stated in dxp has been a deception.
