Not at all. If you're done, you're done.
On the positive side of things, think of it as saving that other person the agony of thinking or hoping that you might get back together some day. It's never nice to lead a person on, even in the name of being nice.
It's not childish to unfriend them on Facebook . I mean who wants notification that such and such liked your post.
It's only childish if you didn't unfriend them on that other Facebook or Twitter account that we all have just In case our ex's unfriend our main profile first .. 🙂
Missfisk blocking them is extreme I think unless y'all were like super duper in love

When it comes to dating do you think it's childish to unfriend someone on Facebook?Or to unfollow on Twitter or IG?
Strictly speaking; no. It isn't.

Is the mindset or motivation behind it. "Done with them".. As if they were a toy or an object you've grown tired of instead of a human being you shared a intimate connection with.
And even in that case, I'm not sure it's "childish". Children are usually more compassionate than that. And their cruelty is usually more the result of youthful self-ignorance than it is intentional calculation.

Well with done I mean as you're done with the sitution. Me personally I feel a certain way about someone I have had an intimate connection with. However, if you dont want to see them on your dailt tl then I dont see what the issue is. Doesnt mean that they can't call or text or whatever that case may be. No to break off all connection but I dont want to see them everyday on my timeline, If I am not interested anymore. Just like how someone may choose when they're done with me to do the same if they please.

I don't get it.
Fakebook isn't real life.
And neither are Fakebook friends.
To 'unfake' someone on Twitter, FB or any other social media is quite comical considering how impersonal these sites really are.
VirgoCupcake-
If you want to be rid of someone, you may want to do the opposite.
KEEP them as Twitter or FB friends.
Just block them from calling you or texting you. Only 'real' friends and family members have that membership.
