Here's where it gets strange.

He replies "I like to keep my work and private life separate."

It is beyond me why you think the above is a strange thing for him to say. You obviously cornered him when you found out he's not single, so then what kind of answer were you expecting?

You misunderstood where you stood here. Now you know. So, instead of walking away from this dignity and your head held high ... you make a deal about it in a forum, so you can whine about it?

Seriously ... what is the point here?

You just wanted a place to whine ... wa wa wa

I think he's going to make a go of this relationship regardless and all his friends thinks he's done well.

Now THAT ^^^^ is very a strange thing to say. Isn't it funny how people's view of reality is so skewed. It's not weird at all to say to a person that you keep your work place and private life separate.

But, that above suggests that you would expect him to do as you wish, and friends wish, rather than what is right for him to do?

You're pretty fucked up. I'm willing to wager that that is too real for you to bare.

Hmm interesting point of view, my issue about keeping his private life separate was because other people in the office who were around him less knew. Again people react differently, it isn't my intention on cornering people.

i expect him to do what's right, but he worries a lot about what people think about him, that was the point i was making.

it's very real to me, hence the steps i'm making.

thank you for your opinion!
