Virgo Cusp

Can anyone give me details regarding females born on August 24th? Thats the Leo/Virgo cusp, one I am not familiar with. How does a birthdate on this cusp affect someones personality?

Hmmm....hard to put my finger on what Im asking. Regards a parent, which doesnt seem to be a common topic on dxp. What are the common traits that are shared between Virgo and Leo when the b-date is on the border? I really dont know Leo attributes, so anything you can offer is welcome. About about children mostly, how they relate in general?

I could imagine that would heighten the critical trait in Virgo being so close to bossy leo.

I'm a Leo/Virgo cusp (Aug 24) and I'm not critical at all.....I don't have time to critize someone else faults when I have my own.....I'm pretty critical of myself.....cause I know I can/do be better....I do talk alot with people I'm comfortable with....but I don't talk sh*t....actually people say I'm pretty trust worthy......besides my approach is if I wanna talk sh*t about you.....I'll say it all to your face....cause I'm nice like that.......but yeah.....you can see some Leo and Virgo traits in me......I def swing from introverted to extroverted.....depending on who I'm with

also they call the point of the Leo/Virgo cusp....where passion meets the mind...so it makes a person go after their goals with passion

I'm sort of a Leo/Virgo cusp (Aug 26) - As far as the critical thing goes, I think we CAN be very very critical both inside (thinking) and outside (expressing) - but that also means we criticize ourselves a ton!

I think there is a tendency to lie, or to "buffer up" the truth to make things sound more appealing or to get ourselves out of trouble (especially with a mercury in leo)

one of my friends put it, we have the power of a lion but the grace of a woman - pretty cheesy but I think it accurately describes us ... we are very confident and capable, but there is still a nervous, critical, and withdrawn side to us ...

when people ask us what we want and we say "oh, I dunno..." -- we DO know what we want, but we're trying to be a bit modest and "go with the flow" because I think we fear that if we are as forceful as we can be, we'll be quite disagreeable people .. but once prodded we will definitely tell people what we want and when we want it, in a very direct but courteous manner...

The Virgo side of the Leo Virgo cusp is those born August 23, 24, 25 and 26. The August 23 ones should always check their EXACT birthtime, though, to be sure they are not a final degree of Leo.

The issue with the effects of Leo in a Virgo would actually come through if the person has a Leo Ascendant (meaning it cusps their 1st house) or some planets in Leo.

I have a relative born August 23 who was quite the shy retiring Virgo and lived life as a hermetic single mother, and then as just a hermit, in our family home -- Madonna/the Virgin Mary personified -- who was only a mother through rape. It was her first and last sexual experience and she is in her late 80s. The child turned out to have some sort of mental illness that required lifetime hospitalization until he died. This Virgo relative drank alcohol like water up until a few years ago. That rape traumatized her for life and Pisces kicked in as you can see. She needed an escape from the painful reality. Anyway...this is all to say that being born on the Leo/Virgo cusp does not automatically make you take on the attributes of Leo.

Anyway, I am a Sun sign Virgo on the cusp of Leo -- BUT you see, I also have a Leo Ascendant:

I resemble a Leo physically and most think that I am a Leo if they do not know me well, know me only in superficial or casual situations, etc.

I am very proud, appear very leonine in the face, ith the typical sparkling Virgo eyes, and a mane of beautiful hair (again, Leo Asc), have a lot of confidence but I also do not express my every opinion. Also, due to progressions in my chart and the environmental infludence of my family and my life experiences...I tend to "live and let live" alot nad do not express my opinions very much. I like to get the group consensus and go with what will make us all happy. However if you choose to do battle with me and be unfair, I will not only roar, but I will rip off your face or get my pride of protective lions (various male friends in my life and work) to do it for me so I need not muss my hair, LOL.

I love a party, love to socialize, and am usually a cente rof attention at them, but it does take a bit of energy to socialize so much and I am a natural introvert (VIRGO!!!). I like home most of all.
