i am friends with a married virgo man in his mid 50"s. we met over a year ago at my 50th birthday party (i'm single) and our friendship has developed and grown over the past six months or so due to a shared interest in guitars and music.

we enjoy each other's company, he's been at my house several times with various pieces of music equipment, and he has always been affectionate, hugging, kisses on the cheek etc., both privately and publicly. we email and talk frequently, mostly about music and guitars but other things as well. he has told me a great deal about his background, family, work etc., and has shared some very personal things as well, surprising since we have been friends for a relatively short while.

it seems over the past few weeks our feelings may be progressing beyond the friendship stage. is there anyone who is currently involved with a virgo?

am finding it hard now to tell whether this is just friendly (like you as a friend) overtures on his part or something more.

he has never been anything other than respectful, but it seems there's something more going on, am just not sure what.

any input would be appreciated.

It sounds like friendship but not based on dating one, just from being friends with virgos, they can be outwardly affectionate to just "friends" too, unlike what astrology says. The one virgo dude I know,we have a thing for being on an almost constant hugging, sitting on each others lap(yes seeing him on my lap is ODD as hell for some people) and cheek kiss thing when we're together even though he's married and im in a relationship.I think it depends on the type of relationship that developes out of it,if it's an affectionate friendship it turns out that way and doesn't mean much in terms of wanting to get with eachother.
