We've been friends for 5 years but in 2014 we became bffs of sorts. I helped him get over his cheating Gemini ex gf simply by telling him how I perceived him, bc in reality, he's a catch. The girl that deserved him would come along. Ofc, his paranoia probs made him think I was BSing. Anyway, in the time we've known each other, we've been able to relate & vibe w/ each other more than anyone else. With that being said I've always felt an attraction & read into our interactions. & w/ my attitude problem I basically demanded he drop the act and be real with me, I wouldn't tolerate not knowing the real him. He listened. Nearing the end of '14, he stopped talking about/to other girls. I went from my first name to Adaeze (my mid. name, no one outside of my family has called me that before. It means princess). According to him, he is only allowed to do so & I refer to him as Knight (his mid. name). I have like 5 nicknames he refers to me as & I know it's corny, but I honestly haven't accepted this lovey crap from anyone before. But given the chance, he'll touch me, stare at me, etc. I'm nowhere near his type yet he's slipped up & told me he loved me, he wants to kiss me, etc (in German lol, I had to use Google translate). He tells me he wants to cuddle & junk. I'm lovey, tell him I miss him, we text 24/7 & spend all day w/ each other @ school. We've talked family (for future references). We've planned on doing things with each other in the future, going to concerts & junk. He REALLY slipped up & told me he wished we didn't get close because I'd just end up gone forever when I go to college. I was offended & reassured him. He ends up shutting down at times & it confuses me. Does he want me or not? Or did I overthink this entire thing & he's just a gross dude I should stay away from romantically...?
