There's this community dinner/meeting that I've been attending nearly every week for the last 6.5 months. I'm normally shy and aloof, but when I do chat with people I'm always joking around and pleasant.
Early on, he came to sit next to me even though there were plenty of seats, but barely spoke to me; or during the meet-and-greet he'd come over to say hello to me. He'll sometimes sit at my table or nearby. He might ask me questions about myself when others are around. But most of the time, it appears that he avoids me and won't make eye contact. It's almost like I'm invisible even though I might be standing right in front of him or saying something to him (with a group of people). I've noticed he goes around and talks to everyone else, almost making a whole production out of it after I've had my back to him or pre-occupied since he arrived . I've started to avoid him and pretend he isn't even in the room... just going about my business. Now, it's like he's doing the same thing... staying completely on the other side of the room.
I'm not sure if I'm interested in him or not as he's so aloof and I feel like he's deliberately avoiding me. I keep wondering if maybe he didn't get my sense of humor or it offended him (I can be sarcastic). Or maybe it's his way of keeping me at arm's length (or room's length lol) as a hint that he's not interested.

I'm seeking insight from you Scorps...
I met a Scorpio on a dating website early in July. I was drawn in by the fact that he talked to me like a person instead of a creepy dude like a lot do with me for some reason and I don't respond to those types. W
