Virgoen Riddle?!

Ok Virgos of DXP as you all don't know I have been talking/getting to know a Virgo male for the past couple of weeks...? I think.

We have a lot in common and so forth etc. etc. But last night he threw me off a bit. As we were ending the conversation (I told him I was going to go work out with a friend, it was about 8pm)

He said "Bye, take care, oh and never pet a burning dog"

I don't know if maybe I looked too much into it...? but I caught on right away and while I had the urge to ask what that was about I really didn't want to go into it head-first BUTTTT I did want to atleast get a feel for where he was coming from, what angle... ?
I just acted a bit confused and turned it into somewhat of a joke which he thought was funny.

Long convo short (I'm sure you guys don't need that many details 😛)... I asked him, what if I threw dirt at it and stomped on it? He said to not do that and just let him go. I asked if all dogs on fire were devilish and he said that not all of them. I asked him if he had ever seen one and he said yes... in his city... by his house... I asked if he was a devilish one and he said No.

Remember that I was being lighthearted but I got the impression that he either meant HE WAS what he warmed me about or we just went another route, however just as valid. I just ended it with "Ok, you know what? If I ever see one, I'll just call you since you're the expert" and he said "Sure, you got my number"

A couple of other details are that he bought me something that I only said 'Oh yeah that sounds cool' and I think with the intention of seeing me... duh. And he sent me his FAV. PIC last night... it was a picture of me that he saved on his computer when I had a myspace which I deleted... I joked about who the ugly broad was and he said that she wasn't ugly at all... And he just text me from work right now...

Ok enough...

So just outta curiosity... what do you lovely Virgos (arsekissing😛) take that 'burning dog' remark to mean?

One of two things. Maybe he felt you were heading into something that could burn you, ( what I have no clue), maybe he doesn't trust this friend you were with?

Is what I was thinking. I am not a virgo but thought I would have a go..Was bored!..lol

And thanx for the great advice 🙂 I should of read this yesterday... I couldn't answer his call because I was at the gym and he left me a message asking me where I was... which I thought was hmmmm slightly odd since I've only known him for a couple of weeks. He was being lighthearted though, not demanding. I didn't call him back though but I did send him a text saying I was busy and goodnight.
