Virgos and honesty?

I want to talk to my Virgo and ask him for an opinion about this upcoming event. Thing is he's not apart of it but another guy is. I had made plans with this other guy before dating my Virgo and now I see that if I go to this event with this other guy my Virgo would be jealous. So my question is, how would my Virgo deal with my situation and would he appreciate me coming to him to ask? I already know I don't want to go to this event if it will make the Virgo jealous, I don't want to upset him so should I just cancel my event and not say anything or talk the Virgo first and get his opinion?

Is this guy someone he knows? Is this a male friend or someone you dated/had history with?

I would answer differently depending on it.

They don't know each other and I already know I won't be going to the event, I just want to see if telling him is better than not saying anything at all.

@cancer_wym this is entirely up to you. From my experience with Virgo, I think he would be a little bit upset that you did not tell him about this and he would want you not to go. If you like it when your lover is somewhat protective and lovey I'd say go for it, but there's also a chance he could get very upset. Needless to say either way it doesn't matter, you are not going. And I would say don't go at all, it would make him extremely jealous.

I agree, I just want to know what his reaction would be, right now i don't think I would say anything because when i did mention it it was months ago. To be honest I don't think I truly said I would go but talked about it and was excited about the idea of going. I'll talk to my friend and see what to do from there. Yeah the last thing I want is to upset him and have him think i'm cheating (which I'm not and won't).
