Hello, all. I'm new, a Virgo, (Aug.31) I have no idea what time I was born, a female, 24 yo, and I actually found this site because I googled: "I don't want to be a Virgo anymore."
That being said, I'm wondering if there's any other VIRGOS out there that ever feel the same way? And also, i think it would be fun to hear people's insight on maybe CHANGING ones Sun Sign? Obviously, you can't change when you were born - cant change the stars, can't change (simply put) the "alignment" of the stars... But one can change the way they think? Something to ponder about, eh?
Me, personally, I would love to be a Gemini or a Leo. The main reason being, people (in general) are not a problem for them. Anxiety and worry? Psh. Not saying Leo's and Gem's don't worry or have anxiety, but being a Virgo, my anxiety and worry makes me completely anti-social. In fact, it's so bad, that I stopped talking to all of my friends. Close friends, that I've been very good friends with for at least 6 years; some 10-13 years. I have always been one to lack sympathy for others, but I still had some left in me. Today? I have none. I don't blame ALL of this on being a Virgo... I would be foolish for that. However, I do blame being a Virgo for the way I think. More accurately, the way I am "ALLIGNED" to think. As a Virgo, it's extremely hard for me to be able to truly LET GO. The more harder this gets, the more I stay away from grabbing on in the first place. At heart, I am a social person and I crave human interaction. So, it's easy to see my predicament here.
Anyhoo... Id like to know what you think!

Hello and welcome!

I used to not want to be a virgo when I didn't know much about astrology. I think that changed for me when I learnt about the rest of my chart, and how it all works together, and that I am not solely virgo. Now I respect my virgo traits and find them comforting.

Have you looked at your birth chart? You can still find a lot of info without your birth time, but it just won't be as in depth.

My daughter is a Virgo and she has also gotten anti social. I don't view this as a bad thing, she just realizes that most people are fake. However, at times I have to tell her that she lacks sympathy for others, and that she needs to be more empathetic.

Love yourself. You and every sign out there regardless of their flaws is beautiful. The good the bad exists in everyone. Anxiety is a terrible thing, that believe it or not i've seen my leo ex deal with. So it's not your sign. And to be honest no matter how much someone will tell you to try and calm down it's something you sometimes have no control over. And i believe letting go and being ok with THAT control is something that might set you free.

Well you finally talking some sense for a change that i can agree on. It's about damn time and most of all without stupid gifs being thrown in.

And what's the purpose of that screen name "BullShit" anyway? Weren't you taureyes? I remember that deadpool avatar.

You can't change it. It is part of who you are. No matter what you do. The Virgo in you will come through. You ve to realize that all signs have pros and cons. You have to balance yourself. All the signs have moments like this but won't admit. It's called evolving, you don't learn from the positive.
As a Virgo Moon I hated failing and being rejected I could not sympathize well in my early life. I asked myself why I lacked compassion and couldn't express emotion like others. I found out I could but I had control of myself.
Why Virgo is beautiful...
You are responsible
You are peaceful
You are understanding
You are organized
You are patient
You are neat
You are resourceful
You are humanitarian
You are you
Enjoy and love the duality that resides within you fellow Virgoan♡

Sometimes I wish I was different so I wouldn't have to worry about petty things and feel antisocial and distant sometimes. But at the same time, if anything, I would choose to change my moon or chart placements

I have a Virgo moon and have known too many Virgos. I understand you all, and I offer this advice to you...

Stop alienating yourself. If your anxieties are that bad, you may need to see a mental health professional. I say this without any judgement. As for worries, we all have them. Humans are great at using "problems" as a reason to isolate themselves. Then, complain later about being lonely (not saying that's what you're doing, just speaking generally). Get on the phone and call some of those old friends of yours. You need not hang out with them all the time, but one by one, start calling them. That will take care of your need for human interaction from a safe distance, and it will be beneficial to your friends as well.

As for lacking sympathy... I don't know. The people I've know with the most sympathy are those who have suffered, do not forget their pain, and allow it to soften them up.... Or they have water in their charts!

You need a change of mind-set. My aunt's a social butterfly Virgo that enjoys personal time too. During the week she's workaholic/homemaker and loves making crafts. Weekend she has friend get-togethers lined up for a month!
