virgos comparing...

So for the past three weeks me and a virgo guy Ive been friends with for the past 5 years told me he was comparing me to someone. Why do yall compare people? He randomly told me he fantasize about me a lot and he couldn't go into detail he wouldn't tell me how he felt just a little information here and there. I had no idea he even thought of me in that way. We usually flirt lightly and I hanged out with him a few times more this year than the past years I don't get it. We tried dating when we were 18 but it didn't work and now we just causal friends. We click on a mental level we have never had sex we have tried but even back then we couldn't go all the way don't know why he is attractive and I'm attractive so idk. But yeah he's been acting strange usually we have good conversations he knows I know the psyche of the virgo mind and always tune in to what I have to say since I'm so intune with astrology but back to my question. Why do yall compare people? I'm just a friend we haven't talked on a deep level ever. We are both 23 now so maybe he just trying to see how he feels about me.

@virgowithasoul I'm aware that when my mind is racing with thoughts my stories that I write are all over the place because I'm too busy typing too fast.

But I'm actually a good writer off screen so don't focus on the way I wrote my message missing what I clearly ask for.

I can be twice as critical my venus is in virgo so I can pick out a bunch of your flaws in a heart beat.

@curiousram he told me that he had a familiar feeling with me that he had with someone else and compared us. I wasn't even aware that he had any kind of feeling.

@Damanta oh my I forgot you guys are all about Details!! When we met at 18 we dated for a short time. Then it didn't work out so we became platonic friends over the years! We were always friends at a distance but when we connect (hangout) from time to time we would flirt but nothing serious and have stimulating conversations. He really became a good friend to me where I no longer looked at him more than friends. Now this year 2014 we have gotten a little closer and kept in touch frequent and out of no where he tells me about fantasizing about me and comparing feelings that he have with me with someone else. This story has nothing to do with the guy I truly have feelings for.
