What happens when you're challenged?

I have an auditor at work that is a virgo female that audits our work. We disagreed on how something should be done. Neither one of us was seeing the other's point of view. So we deferred to the boss who had a a whole different perspective.

I don't mind agreeing to disagree and I think it's healthy to stand up for what your thoughts are and hold your ground. The other girls in the deparment usually give into her and just do it her wait to keep the peace. Well, I'm just not made like that. Every try to put a rope around a goat's neck and try to get it to follow blindly? Well, the goat is stubborn and you end up dragging it. Yeah, can't help it. haha!

Anyway, now I'm really concerned that she is upset with me because I disagreed with her, which wasn't the intention. I have no problem with people disagree with me. It makes me respect them more. But I'm afraid with her it's more personal (when work situations shouldn't be).

So the question is, how do you virgos act when someone disagrees with you?

I personally dont care if someone disagrees with me. There are a lot of things at my job I would do differently because it just makes more practical sense and if someone disagrees then they disagree...I cant make them change their minds.
But I can see though that if she feels her way is the right way...that might cause a problem and she may be aggravated about it.

I dont really know a solution because I dont know her personality...if it was me...I may be aggravated but get over it and would NOT make the persons life a living hell...cause well karma is a bitch!
