Too many assholes were utilizing it to organize witch hunts, so dxpnet eliminated it.
Welllll I don't understand why people have more than one account. But it's apparent that people do have multiple accounts, which is laughable because most can't really hide a specific personality, unless they have serious bi polarish personalities.
I am not saying those that recreate profiles. I am specifically saying those that have two, three... sometimes more. Why?
When I first signed up here I was using AOL, and shared an IP with other users. As a result, I was hounded to death for having "multiple accounts" which was total bullshit.
Being accused of shit you're not doing sucks.

Oh wow that would suck!
I agree... one should not be blames for what others are doing.
Hunts? Wow, ok, I can see why it was removed. 🙂
There was only a few people who went on witch hunts ... and all of those actually have more than one account.
Irony ....

😄 I saved my notes..and still know who they are, including the new ones that came out after the change. 😉
I don't understand doing that. I've had the same username since I found this site over 6 years ago. Granted, I don't post every single day on here....in fact, I was probably absent for a good 2-2.5 years before I decided to come back. I'm sure I'll get tired of the cat fights and other pissy behavior and leave again soon, but one never knows... 🙂

the ability to view which usernames were being utilized from the same IP address? That was a quick way to figure out who was creating dupe profiles.
