I am solid.
When I am cautious with my heart,
I am waiting for trust from you
and from myself to you.
When I love you,
that is pure.
When I say I want you close,
I really do.
When I am scared and slightly distant,
I'm still always
thinking of you.
I am solid.
Even in my tears, the element may be water
but it falls from a face that closes her eyes
to pray to seek knowledge, and understanding;
and strength.
The wind may toss my hair around
and fires may be burning all around.
But I stand here,
on my two feet.
Solid. Strong,
and inlove with life.
