I am an artist; although people refuse to recognize my talent. I arrange a variety of media together, making them a new, logical and beautiful bagged creation. I prefer paper to plastic, - more of a traditionalist than a modernist. I love how the taunt walls of the paper will secure each package as placed, -boxed, frozen, produce, even deli meat- so that they won't slip or tear. Some people call me the master of spacial relations! . . .Or they would, if they noticed the intricate delicacy of my art: the way that color shape and form flow so gently together, never too heavy, never too empty, a perfect equilibrium of matter and space. But not even my supervisor will comment on my work. He just gives me seven dollars per hour to keep creating my masterpieces. . . Customer after client. . . Paper over plastic. . . Package after package of my unique art.
That is so great Morganofmind, I had a smile on my face the entire time I read it. You are so right there are many different forms and media art can take. And it takes skill and talent to master many things we dont even think twice about that people do everyday. An example would be the sandwiches I make for my lunch. I have had comments on them for along time. My coworkers say that they look like something you would see in a magazine. I dont purposly try to get that effect, it just comes out that way because of the things I like to use. But here is another example: I am always asked to prepare the salad at a party and here is the reason. I seem to have the ability to create good balance between all the items used to prepare it. You know just enough but not to much of each item. I can do this with any kind of salad I make, personally I thing it's because I am a perfectionist in certain areas and it surfaces here. Just wanted to share that because what you wrote made me stop and think about some things. Thanks TW2
Well, it so happens that I was asked my permission to dedicate 2 whole pages to me in an upcoming book called The International Who's Who of Poetry with one of the pages being my poem and the other page being a biography of me. Woohoo! (Hopefully it's n
Have been away for a few days & haven't checked in. I am going to the local "book mine" tomorrow & will look for your suggestion. Sounds like something I'd enjoy! For me, besides dialogue, it's all about the characters & how the author describes them. Wil
