WHO?

Bathing in the moonbeams
amidst the cool tall pines
An owl spoke to me in dreams
an echo in my mind....

He asked a simple question
to me t'was quite unnerving...
For I could not find an answer
though I knew he was deserving.

He cocked his head a little then,
His orange eyes so wise,
"so", he said.."you do not know,
What in the future lies?"....

"then, I think you're right to utter
NOTHING as you do...
'till the sunsets of your days are done...
When I ask .........
'WHO ARE YOU'?........"
