:last non-fiction book read:
The Night Stalker: The Life and Crimes Of Richard Ramirez
by Philip Carlo
..a long, vivid, spellbinding book that reads like a novel; weaving a complete, highly-detailed picture of Richard Ramirez and recreates an unbiased look at his childhood, horrific crimes, capture and trial and the mystery that still surrounds him. A must read for those into 'true crime' and 'criminal psychology', my scariest read ever!!!
I've heard a lot about it, it is really that good?
"100 Years of Solitude, Gabriel Garcia Marquez"
o Cien A?os de Soledad, todo depende 😛😛
this book was actually recommended to me by a SMOKIN' spanish scorpio i was more than a little infatuated with. i never read it, but i really meant to. and i second, third, and fourth Yama's inquisition. 😉
a book called, "Lost Mountain". i don't remember the author's name. it is about destruction caused by blasting mountain tops off for the purpose of coal mining.
some of the meaning was probably lost in the translation. but spanish is a more florid language than english imo. doesn't suprise me that some parts are verbose.
I am starting a new book under orders the last Dick Frances book.
Just got done reading a book that looked like it was going to be about serial killers, but ended up kinda dissapointing, now reading a book about cellphones (stephen king) which is alright, and another book called The lady and the unicorn that I got for cheap at the bookstore....the last really good books i read were Daughter of Fortune and The Secret life of Bees.....also like Angels and Demons, much better than The DaVinci Code in my opinion....
