Hi,

I have met over christmal younger and older friends and relatives so I saw both man and woman cooking for the family, one older couple

where the women always cooks, and whenever I read up on what others have to say about taurus men, I am surprised to read that

fire woman find we are much much less difficult and less unapproachable after they cooked for us. But cooking fire sign women seems like

an oxymoron to me. I just wanna know if some of you stopped doing that after metoo started a public debate about gender, do you do

that, are you still comfortable with that, is it a limiting or oppressive expectation etc. How do you feel about that?

Personally I kinda look down on men who can`t cook for the simple reason that is unavoidable if you moved out, so if you cannot cook

I assume you are still a mamas boy until proven otherwise. I dont mind cooking but if women tell to cook for them I instantly flip them

a finger. I also find it funny that in public media and reallife women ask men to get stuff and but get super angry if we do that.

But please answer my original question what is you stance on cooking for your bf? Or is it not worth a discussion?

I cook once a day when I’m on my own, and not ever day. My partner should know how to cook, since he is going to do it every second week, for 6-7 days in a row. By cooking, I mean dinner. Preparing brunch during weekends is optional.

I would accept if he brings readymade meals from the supermarket and shoves them in the oven, but would not compromise on quality or diversity. I don’t eat crap food.

I cook for my man. But acts of service is kinda my love language so... he really REALLY appreciates it because the only thing he can “cook” is cereal or toast.

Edit: he never expects me to do it, but he doesn’t object because if it isn’t me cooking, he’s paying for takeout because I would never be having toast or cereal for dinner lmao it’s just not happening

I don’t like to cook, but do a little for kids and myself. I used to for my ex, but at some point he started cooking. Really that’s about both working together to make life work. I worked full-time and he started cooking after we had 2 kids. He turned into an amazing cook! After my divorce, most guys I dated cooked and actually really enjoyed it & being allowed to after their divorce lol

So if I cook for you, you must be special at this point in my life. There is more to me than cooking & cleaning.. just saying. So it’s not the first thing I do, but more like if we are in a relationship than I will do it some.

I'm not a fire sign but I love to cook so it's no problem for me. I do wish my husband knew how to cook or had an interest in it besides just eating. I think men look so sexy in the kitchen when they're cooking.

Ditto hunny.... ah when he cooks for ME and he’s actually Good at it! Mmmmmmm ❤️ I love me a good cook for when I don’t feel like cooking or so we can cook together which is just the best.
