Have you ever dated or have been friends with someone who has similar placements like your parents?

I’m friends with this guy we did go out once recently I found out his mother’s birthday is a day after mine. And I pulled her chart she has the same Sun, Venus, and Mars signs as me. The only difference is her Moon, Mercury, and rising sign. I don’t know her rising sign because I don’t know her birth time. This guy has Mars in Cancer and I wonder if I remind him of his mother.

It’s both ways because this guy also has some of the same placements as my parents. Both of my parents are Gemini Suns my dad has Venus in Gemini and my Mom has Mars in Cancer. The guy is a Gemini Sun with Venus in Gemini and he also has Mars in Cancer and both of our moms are nurses. It's kind of odd because he does remind me of my parents kind of.

My Pisces ex husband is the same sun sign as my favorite parent and I’m a Gemini like his father who was his favorite parent too.

But it didn’t really correlate in our relationship.

Unless the person you are dating has the same exact chart it won’t be the same interaction astrologically. And even people with the same charts will be different because they have different life experiences.

Yes, of course, it won't be exactly the same but some of the same overlays in the synastries are the same. I know the interaction won't be exactly the same though. I just find it interesting I guess sometimes we are attracted to people who remind us of our parents.
