Why is this supposed to be such a great match?

I didn’t want to bring this question in hellosaggy’s threads, but I seriously wonder! The push & pull reminds me so much if a so-called friend I had who we never quite got together.. and there was so much of this dynamic. It’s just annoying to me lol. And then there is my brother who is an aqua that is just such a freaking know it all & controlling. And yes I’m an aqua moon and no I’m not dating or talking to one - just curious

My best friend is a sag male and he’s marrying an aqua female. She is really good for him and tames him down. She’s patient, calm, grounding to his chaos, short temper, and overall mutable-ness. Before he found the aqua he is marrying, he was with another aqua female and it was one of the most toxic relationships I’ve ever seen. The one he’s marrying has libra moon, the one it was toxic with was a Taurus moon. I think he has Pisces moon if I recall? Anyway. I’ve seen it go both ways for him and this pair.

I think with fixed signs in general, they last longer and have more tolerance for push/pull.

And when an Aquarius loves a person, they really don't go anywhere. They wait and you can find them in the same place they've always been. It's up to the other person to put in effort to secure them.

They don't have much earth in their charts so it's easier to maneuver the stability without being completely grounded. There's stability in the freedom they have with each other and the understanding of what the relationship is.

Talking things out and being consistent with each other helps a lot. This creates the foundation and the feeling of being grounded.

I attended an engagement dinner of close friends this weekend, he's the leo and she's the aqua. Well I overheard one of his friends telling her that she has to treat him (the leo) right because he has no f's to give and will divorce her in a second if she doesn't.

I really had to bite my tongue and not interject because wth?

For context she is the one with the successful career and job and house in her name, pays all the bills etc. He is still in school and not employed. But they've been together already 12 years so I guess she knows what she is getting into...

I see Aquas with Aries and other Aquas a lot and sometimes Libra. For Sags, seems like a lot of Gems and Leos. The rest of the zodiac thanks you 🤠. For a tougher but more rewarding path, I like fiery Earth and Water for Sags 🐴

Okay that makes sense to me. For a certain Leo, and that Well that Aqua. The aqua & I are really too different & would never work as more than friends. But, there is a bond. I’m friends with both but in a they are always there way, not necessarily in contact.

I can see fiery earth. Although the earth I’ve been involved in has not been fiery. Lol I guess that’s me 😂 cap dominant & Sag sun. But not water.

Depends on the chart. Sun-moon connection isnt that great imo. Sun can overwhelm moon person. Also if i recall correctly, your sun is 12th house(pisces house) making a highly mutable and watery energy.

Any compatible energy in a compatible house can be very strong as i have experienced.

I usually connect well with 9th house(sags house) suns. 3 romantically and im 5th house(leos house) im drawn like a magnet

Yes 12th house Sag sun. Aqua moon & cap venus, merc & mars. I don’t like to be told what to do 😂😂 & aquas always seem high on educating people. It depends on the approach & expectations whether I can listen. I am pretty mutable even though all the Cap.

However, I would think that they could make it work because they do have a certain level of respect and appreciation for each other's need for independence and the ability to walk their own path when life requires them to make that change. For Aquas it unconventional. For Sags its personal freedom. They probably understand that need in each other more so than the other zodiac signs, and support it rather than try to stifle it.

Nothing beats a partner that fully understands you and support the things that help you flourish.

Well the one aqua I knew yes, and really helped with personal growth. Aries was good too. At least my ex husband, until the end. Since my divorce, it’s been far more difficult to find people who didn’t try to control me. Leo’s have been pretty good too.

^^^Their major stumbling block however maybe how they go about trying to get the other on the same path. Fix signs communicate in a very different way than Mutables do even when they are saying the exact same thing. It makes me scratch my head when I am speaking to Mutables sometimes because I am often pointing this out:

"I just f*ckin said that! You're saying the same sh*t I just said, just saying it differently"....

Mmm Sags. Those heathens do know how to get me, they can be quite irresistible… but they no bueno for me. Sag men and their unfiltered mouths. Also their action packed schedules… when it comes to serious, long term commitments, I didn’t see it working out well at all. They truly are mutables whereas a fixed sign like myself deeply preferred more guarantee of stability which Sag men DO NOT give. If they do, there has to be a catch or they were involved in an incident that caused brain damage :p

I think the house synastry plays a part. My aries moon is in her 7th house my scorpio venus is in her 5th house and her aqua sun is in my fourth house.... then we have a bunch of things in the second and third....

Very karmatic feeling.... like I normally get annoyed when people talk to me all day every day... with her it's never really bothered me. Even with her... normally she's jumping around and unsettled, she's never been with someone more than a year or so before we started bonding and understanding each other.... I agree its hard finding people that don't want to change you and get you and love you anyway....

Yeah I don't normally push through in relationships. Because I know there will always be more...

It's only regarded as such because the elements involved. Air moves Fire.

Because Aquas are as cool as a cucumber and know how to add structure to a Sag's life without really challenging that fire. IMO, a Sag woman and Aqua man are the hottest couple of the zodiac. TBH though, they're forcing water sign men like Pisces and Cancers on to all of you so an Aqua is a god send compared to them lol.

totally does, which is why it would be safer to find a woman that's by me, than one that is as independent as me. The one that messed me up really bad was a Sag female actually.

My mom, a Leo, was just like... hey put that to rest and take a chance and that I have a lot of love to give outside of the bedroom and she's right... Aqua has been my best friend and every day friend for years... it's foolish to pretend otherwise. or be scared it will change if the relationship evolved.

I think the biggest issue with sag and aqua is the control aspect. We both like to be in control. With friendship control isn't an issue... i'll see you when and where I want to see you. In relationships you have to be on the same page. We do have to work on communicating more effectively and take turns leading or working together.

I like a different kind of friction.

Taurus men are very good at mastering my push and pull. They know when to barge in and when to take a vacation. The energy is so free flowing and their easy on the eyes. They know when to stfu and when to wear grey sweatpants 🍆

They’re also not cruel to me.

My cancer rising is sensitive and I’ve had a Taurus lie on me but it wasn’t a malicious lie. It more stupid than a betrayal.

One trigger and my cancer rising is scared off these days.

Aquarius are just hey girl hey to me. Im missing the desire and dramatic fantasies. One aqua guy had a huge 🍆 but still, I was missing the longing.

I can see how it would work though- we are very open minded and carefree (both) place little pressure on our partners and as long as commitment or non commitment is outlined, we are golden.

Exactly. I had one that devastated me at 22, was a Virgo. It was a different road for me though. But the similarity is that I was closed off emotionally. It’s important to heal & not avoid/use distractions but face the issues. I think you two have stuff to deal with, but if you can stop trying to solve it all for her, so that you get what you want & allow her to choose, you both will be much better off in the long run. I used yo do this in my relationships too. Road towards healthy is allowing choices and being free to make them. What I do understand about aqua being that I’m moon & Saturn, is that we will shut down if people do not allow us our choice. I believe that may be a lot of the tug of war.

I think she may have too much earth. Me and HelloSaggy have 50% water charts, and love Air signs.

Both the Sag and Aqua have to be on the same pages.. plural.

- General vibe-wise, great.

- Platonic, pretty good to great, both have strong opinions at times but tend to go with the flow n be open minded, see what the wind blows in and assess from there.

- Intellectually? Again, both have THEIR opinions but are open to at least hearing others.. they'll both still always have something to say tho lol

- Romantically? I've only been involved with a couple but there hasn't ever been any major issues. Sags may come across as playing games cause we chase, get distracted, come back and chase again, etc.. not that it's necessarily game playing tho - we have vast and varied interests and hobbies and want to see as much of the world and people as possible.. much like Aquas want to help, change, innovate, make a difference, etc. At least this is my experience, idk.

Overall? As I said my experience/opinion - work well together for the most part and tend to understand and vibe harmoniously. Aquas tend to burn a little slower with more lying beneath the surface.. whereas Sags are smaller, more explosive flames.. yes I know, one's Air one's Fire but whatevs. It's how I see it lol.

You're probably right. It's interesting because I usually see the water signs (usually Scorps) that tend to have the biggest issue with air signs---romantically anyway. That's why I thought it played a role.

Yeah I’m pretty mature, and I know myself… I’m half fire (all sag with Aries moon) and half water(all Scorpio) with a cap mercury and a Libra mars.

I’m a natural leader which lends to the control. I told aqua if I see you running off a cliff I’m not letting you… if she’s running off the side of the road. I’ll be there when you realize the mistake you made. I give her room to grow and learn with my caution that’s really about it. She hates that my influence on her is positive. She can’t go “this is why I shouldn’t listen to you” and I think it drives her crazy. I really have no hidden agenda with her… and I think that’s why she loves me.

The only secrets I keep from her are my outside friends and that’s because she said I don’t care just don’t let me find out. So I take those with me and suppress them because I don’t have guilt.

The minute we agree to be monogamous if it ever happens I’ll do it.

Doesn’t work for me too well.. was married to a Pisces, biggest mistake in my life. I don’t really think it works to just go off sun sign. We are all different. Sum of all the parts.

Aquas are a good match for you tbh.

This pairing is how I feel about Scorpio (fixed) and Virgo (mutable). The only reason we get put together is because we’re the only two left when earth and water are paired together🧍🏽‍♀️

I like aqua and sag together but I don’t see it that often, if at all now that I think about it. I see them as great friends.

Because Aquas are as cool as a cucumber and know how to add structure to a Sag's life without really challenging that fire. IMO, a Sag woman and Aqua man are the hottest couple of the zodiac. TBH though, they're forcing water sign men like Pisces and Cancers on to all of you so an Aqua is a god send compared to them lol.
