What about earth?

Well, all planets have qualities, for instance venus rules beauty, you see beauty but when you touch you feel love or affection, earth is about feelings, just choose love.

Venus is perception.

It should be Taurus's ruling planet cuz Taurus is steady and immovable like the Earth.

We're standing on Earth. Earth is the point of view for astrology. It's where the energies from the heavens converge (or however you conceive of astrology working to begin with.)

Yes, i know, but imagine you are living in another of the planets :p

Or capricorn maybe, owner of earth formation.
