Hi, I just joined the forum because I am curious about mercury retrograde in pisces and what it means for me. Would really love some astrology advice if there are any willing readers out there.
I am Gemini, born may 27 1977, in England at 4pm, though I live in America now.
A year ago I closed up my freelance creative business to take an employment offer that hasn’t panned out as i hoped – none of the promises made to me were honored and its apparent my work isn't valued. Though I have been able to work on some great projects and meet some really wonderful client side people that I now count as friends.
That said, I am about to hand in my notice and return to freelance and restart my old business, albeit now more focused on learning/ teaching area of expertise. It’s a source of both sadness (it didn’t work out as I had originally envisioned) but also hope (is it possible the trials of the past year have strengthened me personally and professionally?).
I am planning to hand in my notice on Monday Feb 24th. Am I bonkers to do this in mercury retrograde? Is it possible I can succeed professionally under these stars?
thanks for any advice as I feel I am swimming in a sea of uncertainty….🙏
What You Should Not Do During a Mercury Retrograde Phase
Don’t make any important moves when Mercury is retrograde. Nothing will be settled successfully for the future during these periods anyway – you will find it nearly impossible to nail down a plan. During a retrograde period, it is hard to get decisions from others. Even if a decision is made, it will be subject to change, either just after Mercury turns to direct motion or much later.
Mercury retrograde periods would not be good times to do anything involving communications, such as launch a magazine, website, or an advertising or publicity campaign.
These phases are also considered poor times to launch any *new endeavours*, even if they are not related to the communications industries.
Similarly, a retrograde period is not a good time to sign any contracts or even to shake hands on any new agreements. Do not close on a house during this time nor sign a lease. Verbal agreements are considered the same as written ones. The environment will be quite fluid and changeable, no matter what you are told or what you think.
Right before I told the gemini that I wanted to do naughty things to her...I told her I wanted to tell her a secret ( which was I wanted to do naughty things to her)
what surprised me was her response.
she asked what type of secret it was and then asked
They're often in the same sign as the Sun that's why Sun is considered the main sign. But here are some examples. Donald Trump is a Gemini but he's not clever, he talks like a baby, Cancer Merc, uses baby words, a simplistic and childish expression.

Quotes from a piece in Ny mag:
“I’m not sure I fall out of love,” he explained in his office. “I discover that I’m unable to stay. But it’s not as if I don’t still love them. I think in the end they recognize they were probably better off without me.
Are you attracted to driven men?
I am, I don't mean, rich, I mean someone who has dreams and are chasing them. Someone who doesn't settle for the bare minimum. I think it turns me off when a man is happy with just status quo. I believe this Gemini gu
