I’m wondering if Bitcoin is due to crash? It started off as 8c and is now worth over 40,000 euro!

I’ve invested in a few different coins...it’s a bit hit and miss but I wouldn’t put a lot into it

Coinbase rocks. You can earn free coins by going through their tutorials about them!! Been using them for a long time and my portfolio has really taken off this year! I don’t have a lot of money in it but I like to play with it because I can tell when something is down about ready to go up again, so I can make trades accordingly. Went from $ 112 to $ 237 at the highest just recently. It’s back at $ 220 now but think if I would’ve invested more! Virguy would do well if he had the money to invest. He’s the real brains when it comes to these things. I currently hold Algorand, Tezos, Bitcoin, BAT, Celo, Aave, and Dash. Wish I wouldn’t have traded my Maker and compound bc they took the fuck off!!!

Under there terms of service they have the right to close an account over "suspected" suspicious activity. Which is vague enough they enforce it frequently. I don't know if its intentional or a bug in their automated system.

It can be a lot to absorb so I’ll just direct you to a Reddit discussion thread on the pros and cons of it. Basically there’s a significant amount of distrust of our government and crypto exchanges (I think exchanges in general these days have been revealing to be sketch like Robinhood). People who invest huge amounts want to feel as much control over their Bitcoin assets as much possible.

Simply put = Made Up Resources (so called Bitcoin). Not that different than what we call today "Money". Sure, in the beginning - money used to stand for real resources (a document made by X Bank - which reflected the gold Y individual stored in that Bank). But now, most of it is just made-up. It's just a game - that works only if the majority believe in it. Same goes for Bitcoin. Enough people started to take that game for real - and little by little it started to gain value in the real-world. I remember a time - when Bitcoin - was used in online games to buy in-game items. In games like Atlantica Online - some would buy rare items for 10 Bitcoins each. Had multiple such items - but i didn't believe in it (seem more like made-up Monopoly money to me - even a scam), so i ignored such requests - even found it laughable. Yet, others thought otherwise. Not quite the same, but in a way - you can even compare it to "Baseball Cards" - where the latest releases are quite cheap - yet, some old cards in good condition - are worth millions of $ each. But that - only because some Baseball Cards fanatics - keep raising their value (maybe even by washing dirty money at some auction).

If, one day we'll face another cataclysm - like - a Super-volcano erupting - followed by an ice age. Games like this - will start to loose their credibility. And once again - money will be replaced by barter (most people will value only real resources or a skill). Not there yet, so... we're still playing. (:

I think we're going further and further towards fiat style regulation.

By the time certain coins will be standardized (transactions, which is the case for certain coins that possess very specific purposes), they will no longer be as investable. That's my opinion. Some coins are so high in value that they're devaluing fiat currencies.

Well they're under investigation by the SEC and have been removed from most exchanges. the co-owner is dumping millions a day this would all be very concerning if I was invested in Ripple.

It’s still early. Tesla buying into it is evidence. It’s only a matter of time until others join in too, which will drive up the price. You can purchase fractions of Bitcoin. The value of the dollar is becoming worthless, they’re just printing money like it’s nothing. Bitcoin is more of a safe haven to park your money.

Yes, 100% . But be prepared to hold onto it even when it fluctuates and dips. Don’t panic sell. I buy in small amounts due to the dips and I would buy a lot more right now if I weren’t saving for a down payment on a house. Do your research and understand how it works. You’ll feel better about buying Bitcoin if you believe in what it stands for.

Also, do not invest more than you can afford to lose. I highly suggest having an emergency fund in liquid cash in case you need cash quick. I have about $ 10k saved in cash in a high yield savings account and the rest in Bitcoin.

Thanks for your advice. Yes, I’ve savings in an account. I hear such mixed reviews about the integrity of the coin, not being green, dirty money etc, so I’ve been cautious...

It’s still early. Tesla buying into it is evidence. It’s only a matter of time until others join in too, which will drive up the price. You can purchase fractions of Bitcoin. The value of the dollar is becoming worthless, they’re just printing money like it’s nothing. Bitcoin is more of a safe haven to park your money.

Do you see it increasing further?

Yes, 100% . But be prepared to hold onto it even when it fluctuates and dips. Don’t panic sell. I buy in small amounts due to the dips and I would buy a lot more right now if I weren’t saving for a down payment on a house. Do your research and understand how it works. You’ll feel better about buying Bitcoin if you believe in what it stands for.

Also, do not invest more than you can afford to lose. I highly suggest having an emergency fund in liquid cash in case you need cash quick. I have about $ 10k saved in cash in a high yield savings account and the rest in Bitcoin.

Thanks for your advice. Yes, I’ve savings in an account. I hear such mixed reviews about the integrity of the coin, not being green, dirty money etc, so I’ve been cautious...
