this may be petty or bratty but..

what do you think about people who claim to love you but always forgets things about you and what you like?

say he loves giving you flowers but it's always the wrong kind (your fave are peonies). this just a small example.

you kinda wonder if you've really known each for a long time or not (say you both have a lot of aries/1st house/pisces/12th house energy).

how do you feel out someone's sincerity in things? is it just bad goldfish minds? it's like people are so much more attentive at first then they get really complacent.

1. He is a likely just a normal man, or woman.

2. At least they tried.

3. People aren't perfect, and never will be. I know Virgo tend to be all about those amazing gifts to show love, but people aren't perfect. Someone who is at the least trying will always be better then someone who didn't give a shit at all. You should give them credit nonetheless, because it could be much worse then simply getting the wrong flowers. Just try to slowly add what you truly like after the fact. And by that I mean weeks or months down the road. Just add imput on what your favorite things truly are as many times as you possibly can at the right points in time. Then over time they will naturally adapt to what you truly like, Virgo. Don't be mad if they get it wrong a few times. Think like a Cap. Your desires need to be input at the right time for things to happen in the long run, not just right at this specific moment in time.

The way to show love is to remember little things about your partner. How they like their coffee, favorite place to eat, what flowers you like etc. Maybe it’s just my venus in virgo speaking but I want to know what my partner likes and I expect the same in return.

I will give the benefit of doubt if it's minor things like not remembering my favourite flowers but they have been consistent with other things. People remember different things based on the significance they attribute to the information. Maybe they forgot your favourite flowers but remembered to ask how your aunt is doing at the hospital.

If the guy can't even piece together info from past conversations, it's a red flag and a turn off. I hate not being listened to!! Even if he is genuinely very forgetful, it will just annoy the living shit out of me. I really hate repeating myself and nagging.
