Aquarian men and the ex factor

I've been inconsistently (because he disappears) talking to an aquarian man for 6 months. We were dating and talking almost every day and then the disappearing began, sometimes for a couple of days and one time it was even for 2 weeks. Anyway he recently starts contacting me again and we spend pretty much the whole past week together and he always asks me to spend the night but we just cuddle and whatnot since I refuse to sleep with someone and be intimate in that way until I am sure there is no one else in the picture. He has been SO open with me since the beginning, telling me about his personal obstacles that he is now currently dealing with. I asked him the "what are we doing?" question and he tells me that when we don't talk he misses me and that's 1 of the reasons he comes back. He also said that he sees where things are going with us and I guess gets scared which causes him to take a step back without meaning too but that he's 27 (as am I) and is being careful with jumping into a new relationship unless he is 100% sure it will last. NOW I find out that he has been spending some time with his ex of 4 years (he has been careless with hiding this) and the last time I went over to his apartment I found clues that a woman had just recently been there which I am assuming is his ex obviously. I will also say in the 6 months we have known each other he has only mentioned his ex once and about how crazy she is and also how much his family hates her which was a huge dealbreaker.

My question is has he been just using me as someone to past the time with until him and his ex get back together? If so why talk about our future, tell me personal details about your life and be super affectionate whenever we go out and are together? Or simply is he just waiting me out until I give him some which would make him a very persistent man.

I am a Taurus and I have patience, however my patience is wearing thin.

Scorpio here that has been through the crazy roller coaster of putting up with aquarian mens shit. Don't think he will stop these disappeating acts once and if he commits, because they won't stop. I believe aquarians, atleast young aquarians are far too independent for relationships.

Notice how he disappears on you and comes back? He also keeps in contact with his ex? Thats what they're like. Aquarians make great friends... They are the sign of friendship, that's why his ex is still floating around because he keeps her around because he wants to remain friends and he more than likely see's ALL of his ex's as friends. Friendship is huge for them. Trust me I know, after 4 years of my aquarius ex popping in and out of my life, "checking up" on me, whether he was in a relationship or not.. and he was left quite sad after I finally booted him out of my life for good.

You can continue like this with him if you want too, just know that the disappearing acts are apart of their nature, they won't stop and everybody is a great friend to him, ex's and all. If you're fine with him being like this, then go for it and I wish you all the best. I know for sure that their behaviour doesn't sit well with me, so I finally dealt with it after soooo long lol. Good luck 🙂

i've only noticed dominant water/earth with a singularity aqua or singularity air (their sun) males commmit very very early, as early as their early 20s, or cling on to a relationship even as early as their teens.

the fiery and airy ones, no never. Even in real life celebs, like Justim Timberlake, who is mostly fire and air (he's got leo rising/sag moon and lots and lots of libra) he didnt commit until he was at least in his late 20s.

but because Timberlake has alot of libra (stellium) he was already in committed relationshps before Jennifer Biel. Like he was dating cameron diaz for a long time, and dating other girls like Britney spears before.

but then it comes down to, "they're not the ONE."

Oh I don't know, my ex had a pisces moon and other water-earth placements and he was sooooo slow. I don't move that fast but geez he was damn slow to commit lol. Eh, I'm done with Aquarians 🙂 I'll be friends with them but never more, never again.

hm i guess he needs someone to fire him up. (since he sounds soooo slow) O__O

He's Pluto/Sun/Mars Ruled/dominant which are what i love.
Scorpio/Leo.

i'm mostly earth, then water, my lowest, honestly are fire/air.
but it makes up for it with houses for his fire goes to my fire houses. there's magic about it.

Ahh darn it. It seems like everyone just has had it with Aquarians and bolt (probably for the best). I just hate giving up on someone and something that I feel can progress and go somewhere but I really don't know how much longer I can deal with his inconsistent behavior. We had spoken about it and he said he would change because he wanted too but looks like it was just empty promises.

If one does tie down an Aquarius would they have to deal with this crap forever though? Seriously? That just blows my mind. I think we all think we can be the one to change their ways and being an Independent and persistent sign, I thought I could accomplish that. Ugh I dont know what to do! 😢

I don't anymore, I did for a longggg time. I still care about him, there's no doubt about that but he drives me nuts and I think we both know we will never work in a relationship. I haven't spoken to him in about a month and a half now.. Before that I tried to talk to him about his extreme hot and cold behaviour towards me but I didn't get anywhere.. Infact he disappeared and was hardly responding. I just took that as he doesn't care too much.. So I left it at that and haven't spoken to him since. I don't know if we will talk ever again but I'm doing just fine without him in my life and I'm sure he's just fine without me too 😉 haha!

Depends on his placements I guess.

On that note, interesting lisabeth! I guess I missed that train on marrying early haha. I will say I was pretty committed to and was actually going to marry my first, just never got around to proposing.

Which I guess is another take on your situation jayrose. I'm not saying he's anything like me but 6 months isn't a long time for me. I've been on and off with my Saggie for well over a year now and I feel like sometimes I just don't know her well enough to really commit to anything but I just love spending time with her in person when we get the chance. Outside of being with each other in a physical space, I really don't put much thought about it.

My Aqua and I have been with each other for about 18 months...But he says he KNEW I was the one from like date three. Can you guys really tell THAT early in the relationship?

He even told me he loved me at the two month mark. He did it so cute. He went on a camping trip, and bought one of those souvenier bracelets for little girls, neon green, with the word "love" engraved on the metal ID part. You can find these kinds of bracelets in any dollar store, but it's my most valued possession.

And don't you love the way aquarius's avoidance - you asked what this was, he said when he misses you, he comes back around. Typical nonanswer - the aquarius method of operation.

This guy isn't serious about you. He's wanting to play. Set him free to play. You go live your life, date, be happy. If he misses you enough, he'll get serious. Right now, he doesn't sound like he's worth the effort.

I don't think so. In my experience, once an aquarius decides to commit, they are committed tightly and securely and are in it for the long haul.

I checked on astrotheme.It says my husband and I both have fire/water dominant chart. Too much chaos 😛 But I am really thankful for his earthy moon.Love stability!

when i think of Scorpio sun/Capricorn moon, i think of Gerard Butler, (but he has aquarius mars) but most especially this guy too. he is a very romantic singer. (he has Scorpio Mars but i notice he is dominant Sagittarius)
