well, committing to someone in my case is based on if I see myself with this person long term, and I think it takes me about a year to be able to begin to understand if my feelings are actually real or infatuation (I think Venus in Pisces can have several infatuations, at least I do or it could be another placement)
Only then I'd say Yes (to be girlfriend) and it doesn't mean I'll have to marry this person but at least know that he has most of the qualities I look for.
Also the way I know I'm falling for someone is because I have a natural feel to support this person through anything and always be there, be stable for him, be a better person, I'm a giver.
which again is why I don't commit into meaningless relationships.

Aqua sun Pisces Venus here (the 3rd in this thread if I counted right)
It's very easy for me to fall into relationships with people. I usually get along pretty well with various types of personalities.
As for a romantic connection, it's either there or not. If I fall for someone, I can fall pretty fast and hard, but I do create an image in my mind of that person. Over time, when getting to know the other person better, flaws and all, that initial image may proof not to be right.
I get a bit desillusioned by it and sometimes it makes me change my mind about the relationship causing me to get more distant and doubts will start to surface. So the other person will think that the relationship is progressing, while I am mentally checking out because I lost interest.
So it's quite important that you show me who you are quite early on in the relationship and it also helps if you feel the same for me as I feel for you right away and show it. No games, just honesty.
Unfortunately mutual love at first sight doesn't happen that often, but I think this would work best for me.
You sound a lot like him! He says he's not into games and he's very straight forward about what he wants in a relationship. He's mature about it too! I will definitely take your advice. I also think it's important to show who I am because I want someone to love me for me. I even told him my flaws, which is sometimes emotional and moody. He seemed fine with it.
