Aquas and gifts?

How are yall at remembering dates and buying gifts? Like birthday gifts, anniversary, baby shower, wedding, etc.

I know some that never get around to buying gifts and I know some who are johnny-on-the-spot with gifts. So, lazy at gift giving, or do you enjoy it?

I have noticed that when an aqua does give gifts, they are usually nice and thoughtful.

Okay so Valentines day may have slipped my mind once but you know... My birthday is like the FRIGGEN day before valentines day.

Maybe gift giving can sometimes seem too mechanical and/or repetitive if your just buying a gift to buy a gift.

Are you worried he'll forget your birthday?

When I buy a gift I always try to put some thought into it but sometimes you just don't know what to buy someone.

I really don't think it has anything to do with laziness :/

My birthday is exactly a week after Christmas. People are too wrapped up in New Years to remember usually or people are broke after Christmas. Honestly, he didn't get me anything however he spent the whole day with me - family time at my parents, visiting his dad in the hospital and the movies. So, the time means more than a present. Though he did give me a key to his house, maybe that was the birthday present. lol!! He did buy me an expensive Christmas present, so I'm not disappointed or upset with him.

Actually, I asked the question because I noticed we did a baby shower this month with my girl's group (we play a game once a month) and the two aqua women in the group both forgot to bring gifts for her. They both forgot about the shower and forgot to bring gifts.

Just wondered if that's something that is just not important to aquas.

Yeah I just went out last night to some fancy steakhouse restaurant called The Chophouse for my caps birthday! LoL I must have spent 80 dollars on steak alone before all the other food we had to eat ^.^
She loves steak so... Yeah

Anyways, I mean Aquas can be ditzy absent minded at times.. they likely forgot they were supposed to bring a gift silly girls.

How can you forget to bring a shower gift...to a baby shower. That's rude and cheap. IMO.

I remember dates if birthdays. Anniversaries, etc. Sometimes I wish I could get some dates out of my head. Lol

The aqua I was seeing was quite bad remembering my birthday unless I put a post or something hinting about it...I recall one year he had a go at me because I didn't remind him! That year we just chilled with a takeaway but it was nice to spend it with him. The following year he met me with a bottle of wine which we shared together and a card. Again he forgot until we spoke late in the evening and I let slip (I'm quite low-key with the birthday thing). I think if he wasn't reminded in some way he'd defo forget lol.

I get people forget a birthday or maybe a planned event- but how do you forget to buy a gift ? At least get something on the way if you show up lol

It was our normal game night. The mini shower was a little extra thing. I can see how they forgot.

Today I wanted to surprise my gf with flowers and an acai bowl she likes (acai bowl= fruit bowl) and when I showed up at her place with the gifts and to my surprise she was not there.

She had told me earlier in the day while I was at school that she was staying at her moms tonight.

That's my memory for you all.

I'm like the rain man when it comes to knowing peoples birthdays and sun signs. I don't get everyone gifts but when I do I put a lot of thought into it take peoples tastes and needs into account

ohhhh ok I can see that then. I thought you meant like this was something big, planned type thing.

oh thank god! Its a Aqua thing haha.. My Aqua friend 3 years in a row forgets my bday and doesnt wish me or message me.. I always thought hes doing it on purpose lol

When I go somewhere I always bring something with me. Like wine or gifts. I love giving gifts. I am not great at remembering birthdays though...but I wouldn't dare show up to a shower or a party without bearing gifts for the host/ess!!!
I will buy very nice gifts for people that I love. I don't hold back.

I tend to go overboard for the people I love. The gifts are always very thoughtful. I do forget some birthdays but definitely make up for it.
