I have no idea how to love this man that I'm in a relationship with. I thought that love was supposed to be warm and effortlessly given and received. This seems like way too much work and he doesn't even appreciate my effort. I don't know what more he wants from me. He calls me cold and not in touch with my feelings but he knew that from the beginning Soooo....idk

Are you affectionate towards each other when you see each other... Or is it always cold?

We hug, kiss sometimes. But, we live together so I just randomly hug him or rub on him.

I mean, I'm never really been super emotional. I thought that wasn't really a problem because I was like that already when we fell in love with each other. So, I am curious to why this is suddenly an issue.

His softer side is coming out now and he needs emotional security.

In this process anything that doesn't give him the affirmation he hoped for can be perceived as coldness.

Aqua tend to lose their objectivity in those cases which makes them a bit hypocritical because they would probably be as irritated as you feel now.

Ohhh I am understanding more now. I have to cling to him a little bit more? Dote on him and bring him breakfast in bed? This is maximum effort on my part btw lol

Just because he forgave doesn’t mean he forgot.

***Update*** So, I continued to be in a relationship with my bf and also talking to the friend. I got caught....again smdh (I can't make this stuff up) We had a whole big blow up and in the end my bf said that he would move out and just move on. Then, he went to work and called me from work saying that he thought about it but he loves me and doesn't wanna give up on us so if I was willing he was willing to give it another shot. I love my bf, and I weighed the pros and cons. I have feelings for his friend but I genuinely love my bf thru wins and losses. So, I agreed and we have grown even closer since, and I haven't talked to the friend. Haven't even been tempted. I blocked him cold turkey. This happened on Tuesday night btw. So, is this an Aquarius trait? You're willing to forgive big things but if I wake you out of your sleep you will plot my murder?

I know that he hasn't forgot about me breaking his trust, it was only a couple of months ago. But, this is not what this post is about. He's still here with me, working to rebuild the trust and all. So, that's what I wanted to focus on. But, apparently this is something that I will forever be known for here. Thank you for your input though. I'm gaining so much understanding!

If he keeps trying to make it work you can trust him that he is trying to move forward.

Expect a couple of emotional outbursts form about it from time to time but those are often a way to deal with the pain.

Also let him know in concise words what you need from him to be happy. We know he cares deeply for you because he forgave you. But maybe the way he expresses that love isn’t your preferred way.
