Do other Aquarius hate Pontification?

I don't mind when someone advice or tell me what to do, but I hate when the person tries to preach to me. I will do things when you ask me once, but I just hate pontification it annoying and doesn't work for me. I would like to know other Aquarius opinion.

I second your opinion. When people do that I become sarcastic and disrespect them.

Lol it's bad because it could even be an older person. I don't agree with authority or prevailing over others. Even with criticism if your not giving me a solution don't point all fingers on my problems over and over, or I'll be snappy.

I don't like it much when people try to give me advice I didn't ask for. I usually respond with "yeah sure" or just flat out ignore them. I know it sucks for me sometimes, when the advice is honest and valid.

Enigmatic is what I am. I am a mystery to my self, and other people. I attract a lots of friends because they all what to know me.

I guess it depends on who was giving it to me...in high school whenever a teacher would carry on on class I would be sitting there thinking "you must really be enjoying yourself" this person just teaches because they love the sound of their own voice and expect the room to worship them while they do it and I guess I picked up on it early on because I gave a lot of teachers shit who didn't take the time to level with me.

I have little time for people who are highly opinionated because they annoy the shit out of me??_.but I do love being challenged by someone who knows their shit in the arts??_.Like if I'm taking an acting lesson from an actor who I admire I'm more than happy for them share their full blown honest opinion no matter how pompous they are because its to be expected with most thespians lol

Yes I mostly attract people who need my help/advice or want something. Fan favorite that I am, life of the party, ever so happy. Maybe I'll meet a friend who wants nothing but just great intellectual conversation.

I hate when people TELL me what do to!!! Result is that I won't do it eventhough I should. However, should you apply the philosophy of ASKING, I will consider and I will 99% of times do what was asked.

I usually tell them to shove it up their arse.

Does the approach make a difference then?

Instead of saying "you should do....", if someone said "have you ever considered...." would that make you more interested in what they have to say?

Well, they're noticeably different.

I like the 2nd approach more, because it's more polite/humble.

Aquas don't have those mercuries, that's why i thought you were a libra yourself since you're so indecisive and have to ask other people's opinion if it's okay to be committed to someone.

Oh yes my ability to speak before thinking had kicked in I went back to my chart I have libra jupiter and pieces mercury. Next time I promise to observe first. Are you watching the world cup? 🙂

OMG, Yes!! Tell me not to do something & I'll do it anyway. Don't care. I'm very respectful though, so it depends on how it was said & who said it. If it's from someone I respect & like, then I won't go against their word/wishes. At least not while infront of them. But I still do what I want, when I want & how I want...I only delay it out of respect.
