He always comes back around.

The universe has funny little magic.

My Aqua, for ten years, we drift apart and then we always come back to each other. Always.

I recently turned him loose in January, after his aloofness got the best of me and then we slowly began texting again in May, just a random thought here and there.

But then, out of no where he becomes a little more consistent and my heart stands no chance.

I'm fully aware of the distance, we've discussed how he doesn't feel he can be there emotionally for me, and that's fine. I'm just musing at the fact that for ten years something always brings us back together.

I love him so much and not in a selfish way but in that I'm just so happy to see him living life and I appreciate him. Have you ever just had a complete calm and happiness in your soul just being around someone? That what my Aqua does for me.

We live our lives with such awe of each other. I'm so thankful for him as all that he is in this life.

Just needed to get that out.

And yes, my Aqua left once (for almost one year!) and then came back and tried to reclaim me, even when I was in a new relationship ("Don't move in with him, don't move in with him, don't you do that!!!!). LOL!

If you couldn't handle it before, what makes you think you can handle it now? He's not going to change. It's the nature of who he is.

I do understand, though. My heart sings when I'm with my aqua.
