We exchanged numbers.

The only reason I asked was because I won't be able to see him for a while since I'm working on Sundays again. Starting this weekend the 1st of March.

It's not. Also, nothing to be shy about. It's not like you actually are already head over heels for him. Think of it as just hanging out with a friend. You never think twice when it's a friend.
