hurt by an aqua

i was seeing/good friends with an aqua guy for about a year and a half (im libra) and he hasn't been with anyone during this time and has heavily hinted and even said he liked me, sometimes he leaves for days/weeks/months but i got used to that, we've never really had the dating talk bc its mainly long distance, but he recently texted me but i was asleep and i replied in the morning and he said he was drunk and wanted to talk to me, then he tells me he got laid by some girl? i dont get why he said that, i said "nice, happy for you" and ignored his texts and left him on read after that. im just really hurt and shocked, i know we're not dating but i didn't think he was that type and i dont get how he could say it to me like that and not think it would affect me? im not used to being hurt by a boy so i have no idea how to handle my emotions

My initial reaction was that he is a peice of shit, but I dont know your situation you could be a stalker for all I know and have been living this "relationship" in your head......Dont want 2 is right, he doesn't owe you anything, im sorry that youre not used to being treated this way but sometimes we learn the hard way, what did we learn here?

You need to be very up front with us aquas because we are aloof and we view all relationships as friendships its sonetimes hard for us to seperate romance and friendship. Tell him that you like him for fucks sake, dont be a coward and tell him how you feel, that youre upset that he screwed another chick, did you really expect him to be celibate for a year and a half? What world do you live in?
