Funny story. So my buddy is trying to break up with this girl that he's been dating for a while now. He's tried everything from being a jerk to being too clingy, the whole nine yards. Nothings worked for him lately. So he comes to me and asks me about how to get rid of her. I tell him to rent the movie "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days". He knows it's a chick flick but rents the movie anyways because he hasn't seen it, but I have. The next day he tells me that the movie didn't help him whatsoever and that in the end the two main characters end up falling for each other. I start laughing my ass off because I never expected him to actually go out and rent the movie. Funny thing was he actually took notes on a pad and paper. Sure he was pissed off but now I actually realize how serious he wants to get rid of this girl. I ask him what's wrong with her and why he wants to end the relationship. He tells me she's getting too clingy and overbearing and that she's starting to run his life and she's a complete control freak. So I tell him to just tell her straight up that he doesn't want to see her anymore. But my buddy is a complete pansy when it comes to this kind of stuff and wants her to break up with him. So now we're plotting a way of getting rid of her. And I got to tell you this is one tough cookie. Every time we try something she just keeps coming back. We're running out of ideas now. So I tell him that he should just end this. We've tried everything. He still doesn't want to do it. So I call the girl up, tell her to come over and that they should have a talk. They end up talking for five minutes and she ends up yelling and tossing things around in the apartment for another 20. I'm sitting there wondering what the hell did my buddy get himself into, this chick is a total psycho. She threw my roommate's PS3 controller at the fridge and broke it. So the girl storms out of the apartment and my buddy and I are sitting there speechless. I'm thinking to myself wow that was just something. It's been a good 3 days now and my buddy thinks that every thing is back to normal no psycho ex-girlfriend to bother him and he's free as a bird and able to date anyone he wants now. That just isn't the case. Now she's keeps leaving messages on my machine and calling me all the time. My buddy says she's my problem now. I tell Ames and now she's pissed off at me for not telling her sooner and for trying to help my friend do something he could have done himself. What a shitty month.
