ok im not trying to be a bitch or maybe i am a bitch cos im drunk and drunk a couple of bottles of champagne but i think im gonna boycott all the sagi friends i have cos I dont have any because they are all cunts and they their birthdays are so close to christmas and thats too much to deal with.and can I say Ive never had a friend or a relative that has ever bought me a birthday present in the last 7 years apart from my mum who gave me 50 bucks on my 21st and told me to buy me a wallet when she visted n me n melbouse with me little brother and bought him a whole wardrobe..yeh im a lil bitter.....are u guys bitter cos ur freinds dont buy u presents for your birthday—....i dont expect any for my birthday was wondering if u guys do— my ex bought me lottery tickets and admit my fridends bought me a ticket book on the same birthday!.....is aquanoz still here?? i need counselling!

Presents are for kids. Adults can buy what they want, don't expect others to buy it for them.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself! Think of a poor child, who sees something he really wants. Instead of hoping that his mum will buy it for him (she won't), he says proudly to himself :"This will be the first thing to buy with my first salary!"

My birthday is New Year's. Everyone is either too hung over to remember OR they get caught up in the New Year's Eve celebration to remember. I have two best friends that usually at least do cake around 1 a.m. but everyone's too drunk to eat it.

I have also received a lot of combo gifts for Christmas/Birthday combined. Maybe it would be a nicer present, but it would have been nice to get birthday separate from Christmas. Everyone else gets presents twice a year, whereas we only get it once a year.

Doesn't bother me as much now as it did when I was a kid.

Hi there! I can relate a bit. It feels great when someone gives or even does something thoughtful for you on your birthday. It doesn't even have to be something big or that costs money.

On the bright side of things, rather then thinking of what people haven't given or done for you on your birthday, think of what they have done for you on a consistent basis throughout the year.

I have hardly anyone remember my birthday.. yet I am freakishly always aware of others, it becomes imbedded in my mind forever lol

When I was younger I would always get the unwanted x-mas gifts.. as I have grown older, I don't even celebrate it!

Unfortunately for you, birthdays aren't always important to everybody else.

So you just kinda have to deal with it. If you're in a relationship & don't receive a birthday gift, that's different. But if you're an adult & your parents don't give you any gifts, just let it go

How bout next year we go do something super awesome! haha! I feel ya, my birthday usually ends up around when everyone's on holidays so even if they didn't forget no one's ever around so I'm sorta use to it.
