Keep me posted?

Aqua crush rarely texts me first or initiates a substantial conversation when he does go first. When I text him, he says throughout the course of our convo, "keep me posted on things" at least twice every single time. Is he just being polite? Does he actually want me to keep him posted on things with me? Is that a way to encourage me to keep initiating the conversation?

It's just a friendly thing...I do that a lot to people that I like as just a friend.

if he had a crush on you then youd know it, doesn't mean you can't sway him to like you.

Could be a filler for the convo, but I noticed that if they ask outright, you should do it.

If he says to keep him posted, you should put in the effort and give him an update or whatever.

My Aqua loves when I send him a link to a "movie" I watched and he'll ask me to send him more. When I don't, he'll be like, "no movies tonight?"

I don't send too many, or all the time, but just enough that he asks every once in a while.

I think your crush is totally asking to get to know you. Whether it's romantic or not, I can't be sure. But you can test it out by feeding him drops of 'keeping him posted' and see if it's just friendly or not. Remember always positive things, fun stuff, and no emotional stuff.
