geez..ok, we have done lot of things together and still do, she is an office colleague....with regards to the seperation the "wife" is not staying in the same country any more and the paper work is on going...it is not that the Aqua girl has been dragged into the relationship..it was she who approached and smooched and took charge...but then backed off.

understand what both of you guys are saying...but it's Germany...where more than half of the relationships start in the work place...5 of my colleagues are having relationships within the office, two colleagues are pregnant :-) and above all the management is quite cool about it, as it is very common here in Germany for affairs or relationships to happen in office..

OH YEAH!

I agree with primegen and james on this one ... dating on the job is a HUGE N.O.!

When I was younger, a guy that I worked with wanted to date me -- he felt that sense we worked in two different departments it wouldn't be against the company's rules. Well, I was scared but continued to be friends with this guy -- without dating him. In conclusion, when our friendship soured it was very emotionally draining.

Now, if we had actually started dating!!!!! OMG, I would've been a wreck only because I don't take kindly to friends becoming back-stabbers.

My situation isn't similar to yours but it stopped e cold from ever ever ever ever ever thinking about starting a non-platonic relationship on the job.

Nope, absoluately out of the question! Relationships with people are already a risk, to add "more fuel to an already blazing fire"

(relationships being the fire; more complications being the fuel)

Can lead to a really bad burn ... if you catch my drift 😉
