What is your idea of a good first date? Where would you take her?
Men, Only
Personaly I like to have lunch first and get a idea as to what the Lady likes, and always bring a rose makes them smile. : ]
Good one, CB! I love the rose idea! Lunch is a good idea for the first time, I think...depending on how well you know each other in the first place...dressing up and going out to dinner is more fun when you know each other better...lunch is less formal and lends to getting to know each other better...
My first date with my Aqua guy was perfect, IMO. We met for lunch. He brought me a thoughtful gift that had to do with a previous conversation we'd had...(which showed me that he is a good listener as well as thoughtful!) Since we clicked so well at lunch, we decided to extend our time together and went to a little mall with unique boutiques...smelled candles and browsed, while continueing to get to know each other. At the end of a pleasant afternoon spent together...we decided we wanted to continue to get to know each other and set up our next 'date'...we both wished to pursue a friendship first...so, we did not kiss or even shake hands...
There is plenty of time for that stuff later and tends to interfere with the forming of the friendship, IMO....
That was a year and a half ago and it is the best relationship I have ever had! We are still very good friends and I think our concentrated effort (it wasn't always easy!!) on taking it slow in the beginning, gave a very solid foundation to our love relationship! I think I will ask him to marry me in 4-6 years or so!! LOL!
