i went to check out a little deeper on this merc retro. besides the usual, "Don't sign serious contracts, don't marry, don't move, don't do this, don't do that. sheeeesh."

i like this one:

http://darkstarastrology.com/mercury-retrograde/<BR>
"Mercury goes retrograde January 21 2015 and the traditional advice is —Don't travel, Don't sign contracts. Don't marry. Don't touch electrics!?? But the whole Mercury retrograde cycle actually lasts eight weeks and happens three times, sometimes even four times in a year! That's a long time to hide under the duvet and a real waste of a truly magical time. Mercury generally zips between two worlds, or rather, the two hemispheres of our brain.

So during the retrograde period it feels like Mercury has gone down into the Underworld. In this realm closer to spirit we become more right-brain orientated. It is dark, so other senses are heightened. We will feel extra sensitive here, psychic even. Everything will seem hyper-real??_ you will notice things you had overlooked before. This will prompt you to re-evaluate, renovate, re-form, and re-invent. It's true you might have to redo things, because Mercury will hit the same degree three times, but what this transit won't let you do is to go into autopilot."

@lisabethur8 ---- I do like that thanks for posting that. I had also read on this one and gave me some good insight AFTER decisions had already been made DOH! Figures..... I have decided to use this time to do some painting in my house and patch up the floors in the living room to seal them ... trying to keep myself busy and work on self rather than worry about the world which I have no control over.

I have noticed being incredibly sensitive (I thought it was hormones but it wasn't) and so I had no idea why I was feeling so uncontrollably sensitive but this might be a good indicator I'm just feeling a less secure and sensitive lately.... just gonna ride out the rest of this Retrograde :-)

17?? retrograde Aqua Mercury here. And right-brain dominant, I suppose.

Mercury will hit the same degree three times?? I hope it's the 17th degree. Can't get enough of Mercury transiting my own, no matter its direction. I'm very pleased with the last events in my life and things are moving forward at last!!! Profession-wise I mean, not getting married yet 🙂.

Saturn in my first house helps as well.

Well it's great to hear it's being beneficial for you! I know it can really help along work related stuff as long as it's not a new job. But you know what yeah that part of my life seems to be doing just fine..... :-) supposed to be a good year business-wise for Scorpio!!!!! 😄

omg!! yes!! well, it's Always been good for my husband (Scorpio sun/venus) and even his cousins (Scorpio sun/Sag venus, and a couple other Scorpio suns)
it's just BOOM! excellent for them. They're getting lots of offers and their bosses LOVE them ect. (cause they are such briliant workers -- i'm biased, because my husband is a genius)

don't know how this effects Scorpio dominants though. My mother is retired (Scorpio dominant) and it looks good for her, it has been tough in the Saturn in Scorpio periods, she had alot of close relatives pass away, due to cancer.

i'll have to find out about my other aqua gf who i haven't heard from in awhile. see what's going on with her and this retrograde.

hm yeah same here. I get sensitive and so does my husband. It's sensitive city going on. *smh*

i was going to go on a tirade about it, but i feel passively closed off.

that's good you are not worrying too much and just focus on getting stuff done! like your home, decorate, garden, do some work, maybe some psychology reading and detective stories, stuff like that.

You know I'm not sure... I was listening to astrologers predictions on youtube that they post up and each one said it was a good year for scorpio.... maybe I should go back and look at comments and see if anyone asked them that and got an answer. I would think probably just Sun signs and possibly rising..... I dunno though.

Oh yes gardening is one of my favorites... I have a house full of turtles too that I enjoy working with.... I have my own little peaceful sanctuary at my house full of plants and animals.... makes me happy 😄

The days leading up to it I found out something about the last guy I dated... kind of knocked the wind out of me for a minute. Good news: it really was the catalyst that enabled me to fully move on. Mercury rx is transiting through my 12th House right now, but this all took place before and shortly after rx began when Mercury was still in my 1st House. All of these repressed memories starting coming back to me, and I realized how naive and overly sympathetic I was with this guy. It was unsettling as fuck for a few days, but I REALLY needed it. I had been so passive about moving on.

Now, I feel great! All of the psychological reevaluation associated with the 12th House happened so quickly, so for most of the rx I've been well. The new moon in Aqua in my 12th House might also have something to do with that. I'm focusing on myself a lot more, doing things that make me feel happy and confident. I'm excited to move forward with my life instead of pining over some guy. What a waste of time.
