Well maybe not 'THE' question but one of the.

K, well the weekend saw my sisters 21st. After a wine tour (that commenced at 9:30 am) & more wine at her place oooOOOooOO & some wicked chocolate port & a Heritage bottle of red at the BBQ & ......... oh well ALLOT of fine wine, we played truth or dare (Hee hee, yup for a night we were all 2 again) there is allot I already know about my man & I am not too fazed but as for my friends I was shocked at the couples who had been together for years & years who knew barely anything about the other!! I also managed to upset my man with some not so pretty truths about myself (which he asked to know then after decided he didn't want to know any more).

Would you really want to know the truth if it was going to hurt you?

Religion is like this too. They refuse to hear other POV in case it has an affect on thier belief. They choose not to know. There are some things that I don't want to know in like (like when the last BM you had was) but in general its curiosity that gets me. I don't know if what is said is going to hurt me, I can't anticipate my reaction, but none the less I think I would rather know.
Once you do know something about your partner that isn't so pretty, do you think it will change you opinion of them?

This toga party I did in college where I got all drunk, doesn't really impact me today. In fact I get a good laugh over it

But if you were to have another toga party now, you would have a general idea of what happens at a toga party - or you would have a preset notion as to what may happen so in affect it does non the less leave an imprint on you?

*Once you do know something about your partner that isn't so pretty, do you think it will change you opinion of them?

-i think it depends on what exactly....the severity of the details and the circumstances...the overall situation really...

*Even if they are nothing like that anymore?

-like i said the situation.....if the acts in question were something of the moment, that can be one thing, however, other things can follow you and impose themselves on your present situation...

that's one way of looking at it....but if you found out he raped someone or beat up his ex-girlfriend would u still be so accepting? i just think various circumstances require their own judgement....sorry i went beyond any sort of sexual history, i'm just saying a person's past can come back to haunt them if it is severe enough....
