Would you reconcile?

I've known this aqua for a little over a year. Or relationship is kind of awkward on my end because i liked him and his friends told me he was very aware of it - he continued to be my friend knowing it, though. He was pretty flirty with me, but it just seemed like we were only friends when he felt like it. There have been times when he would ignore me for a few weeks and then start talking to me again (this happened a couple times.)??We hung out a couple times in the beginning and had a good time, but then when i started making it obvious that i liked him he would back off and then come back. I didn't really know what was going on and was confused, so i definitely backed off a lot and kind of portrayed a loss of interest.

Well it's been a while since we talked, he deleted me off fb (but has talked to me since... Asked if i was going to go to his shows and such.) I'm just not really sure where i stand. Last few times I've seen him he hasn't even attempted making conversation. So should i say something to him? I'm sure i still have feelings for him, but overall i just really enjoyed his company... I miss him but i don't really want to come off like that? Do you think he's pretty much done with me or is there a chance for friendship here?

If he's distancing himself and not making effort it's because he's not interested romantically.

No. He's only interested in you as a friend. Otherwise, he would have made a genuine, no questions asked move already.

If you reconcile, history will repeat itself. Why waste time on him?

Develop the friendship, but move on to someone else romantically.
