You tend to idealize someone you like?

Ok, this will gonna sound pretty dumb, because most of this aquarius here that respond to questions are grown up and mature (at least it seems) and they learn how to be realistic and to not build someone image in their head using imagination... But at least when you were young you used to dream about a certain person and after some time to realise that you see them now as knights in shining armor or princesses or idk... Most ppl do that but you have a sparkling imagination, and im intrested about how deep can this process go. I read somwhere that aquas live most of the times in their heads, so can you actually build a whole imaginated story with someone based on some memories? And fall in love with someone you meet just a few times but have extremley amazing experiences?

It seems leight to me because in real life some aquas i know confessed me that they have a crush on someone but i saw that prefer to keep it in their head instead of talking to the person they like despite the effort that person does to reach them... It happened to me too with an aqua girl, and I dont understand why you prefer an imaginary version of a person inside of your head almost ignoring and pushing away the real one.

I love having crushes, it gives you something to fuss and get into a flurry over lol. And it's all in your head so no one gets hurt.

There have been times that I've had a crush on someone and the second they pursue I back away.

I remember having a huge crush on Darren Hayes from savage garden growing up, then I found out he was gay and it crushed my fantasy of him lmao

Its actually normal response by every human beings not just an aqua thing. When you think about someone you fancy you tend to fantasize how they will be like. We aquas are passive lovers at the beginning, we love to observe the other person for some time before making a move. Sadly you mention about keeping close contact with the aqua & they are being pushed away? Yes it might be true at first because we aquas are being opposed too much in our life, our shield is almost second nature. We are strong because we hide our emotions away from people but emotions are out greatest weakness. Most aquas know it by second nature so if you want them to open up emotionally the intention has to be genuine, It takes great patience & affection to penetrate that shield. I dont know about other aquas but it seems like we are pretty much inseecure people, we fear of being rejected. All these reasons make it hard for us to open up initially.

The easier solution to this really is let that aqua study u & come to u himself. As long as you are slightly more observant you can see we are studying you. After we are confident in our evaluation, we will usually initiate. Due to this its easier to be friends with an aqua first before becoming lover. It makes the transition part from evaluation to courtship way easier & less confusing.

when i got older i started realizin it was bad to do that. when i like a girl from a distance she instantly becomes a goddess in my eyes, but when the real contact comes and she gets humanized, i cant help but feel disinterested
