Yes. I put it on both around the same time.
My Dad had Aries sun with Gemini
Mars. He was very scattered and somewhat unstable but very honest. I never knew him to be duplicitous...i don’t think he was capable of that. He had no filter 😀

But duplicitous or wearing a mask is something I really don’t relate to and I don’t see it in @ixi either and I think we both have this Mars. If anything, I got criticized for being too direct.
Currently dating a Gem Mars. I think people always think this about Gemini placements in general (wearing a mask or duplicitousness) and it really has nothing to do with the other person.
Gemini placements aren’t malicious at all. They just get distracted and uninterested easily.
You either keep their interest or you don’t.
It’s really that easy. Do fun and exciting stuff, keep them entertained intellectually, and have a little mischievous streak and it keeps their “adhd” in attraction mode.
There isn’t much mystery about Geminis. I think people overthink when it comes to this sign. I think it just confuses people instead because there isn’t just one thing that can satisfy them. It has to be a variety of life experiences with a person that will keep them long term.

I get distracted easily as well I am 3rd house stellium. I've heard it can be down to a lack of air placements which I have, but don't know how true that is.
I'm not referring to anyone specifically on this board but I do know someone with gem mars who is a people pleaser.

Variety is the spice of life! I know I get bored of too much routine too. Though I have a lot of it because I have to because of responsibilities. I don’t have any Gemini in my chart though. 🤷♀️

Personally I don’t think duplicitous is even attributable to one sign. I think any sign can have deceitful people.

Sun in Aries - sun is exalted in Aries and very comfortable there. More of a “what you see is what you get” sign.
Moon in Libra - born on a full moon. Rebel spirit for an Aries. Will be guided by their own intuition and what they think no matter what others say.
Mercury in Aries - Albert Einstein had this Mercury. Direct and straightforward.
Venus in Taurus - Wants stable and secure relationship.
Mars in Gemini - duplicitous. May change on a whim.
The rest is meh.
Mars in Gemini = duplicitous. Fickle. Able to change on whim.
