I think the main problem with some of them is they are in a near constant state of impatience induced rage. The one I dated would bump cars that were in his way and shit. Once he dropped by my house unannounced and was like: "We got to go, hurry.. come on come on" and I thought his kid was hurt or something so I ran out a mess, holding my shoes. I get in the car and he was calm and drove off with me.. I was like "What is the problem?" and he was like "Nothin".

Also I have yet to meet an Aries that didn't hate talking about consequences, they get really annoyed and as a person with a lot of common sense, it gets really hard for me to watch him do stupid shit all the time. And they all yell at me and then refuse to talk about how that was plain unacceptable. That annoys them too.

I'm not bitter, we're just not compatible.

I was just looking for someone who can actually describe the ‘issues’ and I agree with what was posted but it’s not severe enough to yell ‘Aries! Never! Stay away!!!’ is it?

My Ex would do that all the time - not listen. And I would have to repeat myself constantly. It drove me insane. I need someone I can rely on and not have to repeat myself 20 times to get something done. I always felt like I had my own stuff to do, and then constantly remind him of the stuff he had to do, because he wouldn’t listen & process the information. He’s definitely artsy too, and I did last for 8 years. Haha. Happier now that I don’t have someone constantly disappointing me though.

It’s not even about how big the things were, it was just the frequency of them, and the fact that in the end, I didn’t feel like I had a partner to rely on. If I needed something done, I had to do it myself. And it always felt like any chores he was doing was a favor to me, not just his part of the workload. And no, he didn’t work more than me or provided. I’ve always earned more than him and have a more demanding job. But he wouldn’t ever pay attention to when I got home from work. He would choose to do his projects when I got home, instead of during the day when I was away, so we could spend time together.

He would make dinner for himself, literally half an hour before I got home from working all day, not even thinking about checking my work schedule.

I dunno. Small things like that that just added up. Not listening. Lying about dumb stuff like cleaning the litter box. Just not being considerate.

Like I said. It’s great that you found someone that works well with you. For me communication and respect are important when you’re in a long term relationship, and i don’t wanna feel like i have to do double the work coz I’m doing all of my stuff, and then my partners stuff too. Not listening to me is a sign of disrespect. Yeah of course there are times when you’re scatter brained or whatever. But after 8 years of it, I was just worn out.
