Based on what the OP said, the Cancer in question must be some kind of super unevolved Camp 2 Cancer.

The sad thing is, that they are definitely out there.

We, whom have strong hearts, affection and devotion, must be careful not to let a Camp 2 Cancer hurt us.

They can be quite destructive and harmful to those of us who want to love and be there for someone.

One must be certain not to mistake our civility and compassion for weakness.

It's a shame Camp 2 Cancers do that with others, but it's their loss. Not ours.
